Help us welcome our new hygienist, Pattie Fennell!

added on: December 12, 2013

As we say goodbye to Shermance, who is venturing off into the next chapter of her life, we are excited to welcome our new dental hygienist, Pattie Fennell, to the Trade Winds team! Even though Pattie has been with us only a week, we all know already that she is a great fit for our office. We are looking forward to each of you meeting her. The feedback from the patients she has seen in her first week has been overwhelmingly positive. With special kudos given for her thoroughness, gentleness, and professionalism.

Pattie is a native of Tyler, Texas, and has a long history of being in a dentist’s office! As a teenager, Pattie babysat a dentist’s daughters. The dentist saw how great the care was that she provided for his children, so he invited her to work at his office. As time for college came around, Pattie’s experience and training at the front desk and as an assistant made it an easy decision for her to pursue an education and career in the field of dental hygiene! Pattie excelled in her studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Tyler Junior College in 1980, and she has not slowed down since!

Although Pattie’s roots are in Tyler, TX, she has lived in the Dallas area as well as outside of Frankfurt, West Germany. She and her family have been in the Austin area since 1995. Pattie has been happily married to her high school sweet heart since 1979. Together, her and her husband have had the honor of raising two now-grown children – a son and a daughter. Of course, Pattie’s crowning addition is her precious granddaughter!

Pattie’s faith and family are the centering, driving forces in her life!

Turning our attention to Shermance, we want to share with you the loving message she leaves with us all!

Dear Trade Winds Dental Friends and Family!

I am very sad (and happy at the same time!) to be saying goodbye for now. After the stress of the last year, I want to stay home with the boys for a while. Just take it easy, you know?

I love all of you so much and you will always hold such a dear place in my heart. It was your prayers, support, and head bling that helped me make it through the ordeal that was last year.

So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for a spectacular 2014! You know you are all in my heart and I will miss you all!!!

Love,
Shermance Morris RDH, BBA, CANCER SURVIVOR!

We all wish Shermance well in her future endeavors. We thank her for the contributions she made as a member of our team. Please feel free to call if you have any questions, and I hope each one of you and your families has a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
