We love all of our neighbors in Georgetown into Austin and beyond. As your Georgetown dentist, we wanted to take a moment to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation for all of you. We’ve all been through challenging times recently, and it’s humbling and heartwarming to know that our community can continue to come together and help one another — no matter what.
Let’s take a step back for a moment and share some positively good things that we hope will bring a little joy and smile to your day.
1) Did You Hear About Ryan Sivley?
KVUE aired this story about Ryan Sivley, a good samaritan who helped hundreds of stranded drivers in Austin during the storm. Check out his story and find out about his inspiration to do so much good for so many people when they needed it the most.
2) Amazing, Inspirational Window Art
Join your Georgetown dentist on a journey across the pond to England in Cotswold, where villagers were busy creating some beautiful, breathtaking nighttime window displays as a source of inspiration and smiles. They’re intended to brighten the spirits of the neighborhood as people venture out for a walk during the COVID-19 lockdown. “It all started when hundreds of families signed up for the Wotton Window Wanderland event. This year’s theme? Celebrating community. The aim? Raising people’s spirits during the pandemic.”
3) Making Someone Smile Using Two Simple Words
Did you know there are two simple words so powerful that they can change someone’s day or even outlook on their life? What do you think they are? Do you have the power to use them to do good for yourself or our community? It’s something we agree with and stand behind at our dental office in Georgetown. So, what are the words, and what’s the big deal? You’ll have to click and find out.
We hope that you’re able to find the positivity and bright side of life whenever there’s a curveball or two thrown at you.
